Noillirk — Daily Common-Answer Game

Krillion in reverse: answer with the crowd’s first thought and climb higher.

How to Play Noillirk

  1. Open the game and start a round. Nothing to install, no account needed.
  2. You get ten prompts. For each one, type the answer you think most people would give.
  3. You have 15 seconds per prompt — trust your first clean answer and submit it.
  4. Your answer is ranked against a fixed prior, and the more common it is, the more it scores.
  5. The round ends after ten prompts; start Noillirk Unlimited whenever you want to practise.

How to get better at Noillirk

The name is Krillion spelled backwards, and the scoring is inverted to match. Krillion rewards the answer nobody else gave; Noillirk rewards the one almost everyone gave. Both use the same kind of fixed prior, frozen when the prompt was published, so nothing you see during a round changes what your answer is worth.

The trap is assuming that “most common” means “first thing I thought of”. The prior describes a broad reference population, not your own habits or your friends'. A prompt about naming a European country will have a different top answer for an international audience than for the people you happen to talk to. When your instinct and the general-population instinct diverge, the prior wins and your instinct is wrong.

Being correct is not enough. Ranking is by cluster position, so a true answer that few people would reach for lands in treetop or grounded and scores near nothing. If you are choosing between an obviously-popular answer and a cleverer true one, the obvious one is the play. The game is not testing your knowledge; it is testing your model of other people.

Fifteen seconds is a tight timer, and it is deliberate. There is no time to second-guess, which means the answer that arrives while you are reading the prompt is usually the right one to submit. Type it and move on.
