Krillion Rules: A Practical Guide to the Daily Game

A practical Krillion rules guide covering prompts, timing, accepted answers, daily boards and the difference between rare and wrong.

Krillion is a daily browser game about finding a rare answer that still fits the prompt. Each round uses seven prompts and a short timer. You submit one answer, receive a tier, and then decide whether to stay with the obvious choice or search for a less common valid one.

Answers are normalized before matching, so capitalization, punctuation and harmless wording differences do not create a new answer. The scoring list is frozen for the daily board, which keeps the same answer worth the same amount for every player.

The central rule is easy to state and easy to forget: rare is useful only after true. If an answer is clever but unsupported, it is not a deep answer. It is simply wrong.
