Noillirk FAQ

Quick answers to the questions people actually ask. The prompt count, timer, scoring tiers and maximum score live on How to play Noillirk.

Is Noillirk free?

Yes. Noillirk is free to play in a browser — no paid plan, no trial timer and no paid tier that changes the board. The daily board and Unlimited are both open without payment.

When does Noillirk reset?

The daily board changes at 00:00 UTC, one board per UTC date. If you are not on UTC, the reset lands at a different local hour — work it out once and it stays the same every day.

Can I play on a phone, or is there an app?

Yes, and there is nothing to install. The game is built for touch screens and modern mobile browsers, so it runs in the browser on your phone with the same board you would see on a desktop.

What does Noillirk reward?

The answer most people would give. That is the reverse of Krillion, which rewards the rarest answer that still fits. Reading the crowd rather than your own cleverness is the whole skill — the Noillirk vs Krillion comparison covers where the two instincts split.

What is a good score?

A good score depends on how spread out that day's answers were, so a fixed number makes a poor target. A run built from consistent top-tier picks is the real signal; one lucky top answer surrounded by off-the-board guesses is not. Compare your totals across days rather than against a single threshold.

Can I practise after today's board?

Yes. Noillirk Unlimited lets you answer continuous 15-second prompts for as long as you want. It is separate from the daily board and never places a result on a public ranking.

Is Noilirk a different game?

No. Noilirk is a common spelling variation people type when searching for Noillirk. It is the same game and the same daily board.

Is Noillirk Krillion backwards?

Yes. The name is Krillion written right to left, and the scoring instinct is reversed with it: Krillion wants the rare valid answer, Noillirk wants the common one. The name and the reversal are a design reference; the two games are otherwise separate products.

Is Noillirk official, and who runs this site?

No. Noillirk on Playdose is an independent project and is not made, endorsed or supported by the Krillion team. The name and the reversed scoring are a design reference. The rules this site publishes are written out in full, and corrections go to hello@playdose.io.
